Siberia: Postmarks and Postal history of the Russian Empire period ( second edition )

Following the success of the first (1986) edition of this book, over 500 copies were sold and which received several silver and vermeil medals at national and international exhibitions, a second edition is now available.
The new edition comprises 190 A4 size book and the book list, illustrates and values over 2,000 postmarks. The chapter on railway postmarks is particularly comprehensive, and detailed information is given on the TPO routes which operated along the Trans-Siberian Railway.
There is also a comprehensive list of the 1500+ post offices which existed in Siberia in Tsarist times, printed in both Russian and English, giving the status of each office and when it operated. A series of detailed maps shows the locations of the majority of these offices, and there is a separate series of maps of Trans-Siberian Railway. Supporting chapters give information on postal history of Siberia, postage rates etc
