In the book “The Postmarks of Moscow, 1765 – 1917” by Gary Combs and Noel Warr, on Pages 50 to 61, some of the dates are in parenthesis. I can’t find an explanation as to what those dates signify. Maybe I just missed it, but would appreciate any help in understanding their meaning.
