Upcoming Auction: Imperial, Soviet, Zemstvo Issues (2nd October 2013)

lot60025David Feldman is delighted to announce its upcoming Russian specialised auction which will be part of the Geneva Autumn Auction Series.

This auction brings for the second time in 18 months an usually large presentation of Russian material. The coverage of both Imperial and Soviet Issues is extensive, including multiples plus important errors and varieties: inverted centres, past perforated, mistakes in colour and perforation… as well as an excellent representation of covers throughout.

Of special merit is another attractive array of over 100 lots of the Russian Zemstvo issues, which served to connect hundreds of villages to the Imperial posts.

We hope you will enjoy having an opportunity to meet and mix with your philatelic colleagues and experience some world class philatelic displays. The Saturday get-together usually continues into the evening when some members enjoy an informal dinner at Le Côte, a lively restaurant just over the river in Covent Garden (very reasonable prices and good fun!). Your president Lenard Tiller and I greatly look forward to welcoming you in October.
