The BSRP takes your privacy and data security seriously. When you visit our website, we collect only the minimum necessary amount of information and do not share it with other parties unless you have specifically consented to us doing that.
We may ask you to provide information that will enable us to enhance your site visit, to assist you with technical support issues or to follow up with you after your visit.
For example, we request information from you when you:
- Register
- Place an order
- Provide feedback in an online survey
- Subscribe to a newsletter or a mailing list
In each of the situations above, we may ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, address, membership details and any other personal information necesssary to register or subscribe you to our services. In the case of newsletters or mailing lists, you will be able to unsubscribe from these at any time.
The information you provide is kept confidential and used to support your customer relationship with the Society. Only Society officers have access to your personal information, and only when required. The Society never sells your personal information.
Accuracy of records
You can request the individual information that we have collected about you by emailing us at mail@bsrp.org. Please contact us at the same address to request correction of any factual inaccuracies in the data we hold.
Cookies and tracking
We may store cookies in order to track usage of the website and to personalise and customise your browsing experience. Similarly, we employ an analytics service to provide information on levels and patterns of usage of the website. Finally, we may employ third-party advertising on the website – the content of the adverts may be determined by data that the provider already holds on you.
Online payment
We may use PayPal or another provider for online purchases. Your individual account is with the provider and not with the Society. The Society does not keep or see any of your personal credit information, credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc.
